Hyphen Conservatory is a Southern-California based non-competitive movement & emerging-artist contemporary training program founded and directed by Megan Guise & Krystal Matsuyama-Tsai. The program cultivates movers ages 14+ who are open-minded, adaptable, and invested in their growth and expansion as a young artist and human. The program curriculum is intentionally designed to support participants in the pursuit of their individual artistic goals while also preparing them for navigating the rigorous demands of the 21st century.

The foundational curriculum will include consistent movement training classes & discussions with our core faculty as well as supplemental training with guest choreographers and educators to share their expertise within the field. In addition, repertoire performance opportunities will be offered throughout the season to evolve the dancers’ artistic voice and physical stamina.
