HYPHEN ARTIST Sunday program

The Hyphen Artist Program is an innovative non-competitive dance training laboratory held every Sunday in Laguna Hills, California, co-founded and directed by Megan Allen. Building on nearly a decade of experience educating and mentoring dancers in both commercial and concert dance, Megan developed this program to realize her vision of a dedicated space where dancers can nurture their individual artistry, elevate their technical proficiency, and pursue their professional ambitions with purpose and confidence.

Our carefully crafted curriculum equips dancers with essential tools and transformative experiences designed to unlock, deepen, and revitalize their connection to the art of dance. Through this comprehensive approach, students develop both the technical precision and artistic authenticity needed to thrive in today's dance landscape.

Program members enjoy exclusive access to distinguished local and international guest artist-educators, enriching their personal artistic research while strengthening their adaptability to diverse creative processes and collaborative environments. We believe it's essential for dancers to explore their identity not only as artists but as whole individuals, preparing them to enter professional spaces with more certainty, integrity, and purpose.

Our HYPHEN ARTIST PROGRAM season runs from September - April of every year and meets to train weekly on Sundays from 1:30-4:30P at Prynstev Ballet Academy in Laguna Hills with additional HYPHEN ART HOUSE workshops and masterclasses throughout the season.

Megan also offers private lessons outside of training hours for dancers who want more mentoring and coaching for solos or personal goals.
