ABOUT OUR PROGRAm

Our Hyphen Artist program is a pre-professional concert dance training lab based in Southern California, led by Megan Guise. With years of experience in educating and mentoring generations of dancers for almost ten years, Megan Guise has dreamt of providing a space for dancers to prioritize their individual artistry, technical abilities and professional goals. The curriculum is designed to provide dancers with the essential tools and experiences to unlock, deepen, and invigorate their connection to the art of dance.

Members of the program have the unique opportunity to engage both local and international guest artist-educators, enhancing their personal research, adaptation to creative processes, and collaboration skills. We believe it is crucial for dancers to explore and examine not only their identity as artists but also as individuals, preparing them to navigate professional spaces with confidence and integrity. By fostering this holistic approach, we empower young artists to invest in their personal growth, ensuring they can be prepared in their pursuits in dance.

The HYPHEN ARTIST PROGRAM season is from September - April of every year and meets to train weekly on Sundays from 1:15-4:30P at Prynstev Ballet Academy in Laguna Hills with additional HYPHEN ART HOUSE workshops and masterclasses throughout the season. Megan also offers private lessons outside of training hours for dancers who want more mentoring and coaching for competition solos or personal goals. Monthly tuition for the program is $375 and must be 13+ to audition. If you are in need of financial assistance, feel free to email us at hyphenarthouse@gmail.com.

SEASON 2025/26 AUDITIONS WILL BE HELD JUNE 8 + JULY 27 at Prynstev ballet academy FROM 1-3P

if you are unable to attend one of our in-person auditions above, we are accepting video submissions until july 27
